CCSSTI Profile

Canada-China Society of Science & Technology Industries (CCSSTI) is a non-profit organization incorporated under the Societies Act of Alberta in 1998.

The Society was created to advance, promote and facilitate the effective communication, exchange and collaboration between Canadian and Chinese technology industries through the provision of a wide range of programs and services to its members and the public.

Founded by a group of visionaries and leaders in the industry and driven by the dedication and enthusiasm of numerous experts and specialists from various fields, the Society provides a forum where major players in the hi-tech industries from both countries meet and exchange information and work together in such areas as technology commercialization, technology investment, technology transfer, and joint venture in research and development.

Canada-China Society of Science & Technology Industries is committed to facilitating and enhancing the effective communication, exchange and collaboration between Canadian and Chinese technology industries through the provision of a wide range of programs and services to its members and the public.

CCSSTI Alliances and Partners

Since its inception, CCSSTI has received full support and cooperation from the Consular General of PRC in Calgary, the Chinese Professionals and Entrepreneurs Association and Canada China Business Council.

CCSSTI has established close relationship with International Scientific Exchange Foundation of China, China Society of Mechanical Engineering, Torch Hi-Tech center, innovation fundation, China Prospective Plan Office, Hainan Province, Shaanxi Province, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hi-tech industrial development zones and has established working relationships with many governmental ministries, departments and agencies, non-governmental organizations, institutions, venture capital and hi-tech companies as well as large corporations from China.

At the invitation of the Office of International Partnerships and CCSSTI, a financial and hi-tech delegation visited Canada during August 13th - 20th 2000.
