Convention of Overseas Chinese Scholars in Science and Technology

The third annual Convention of Overseas Chinese Scholars in Science and Technology will be held in Guangzhou, China, from Dec. 28 - Dec. 30 2000.
  1. Exchanges on high and new technological achievements and qualified personnel for overseas Chinese scholars. 
  2. Exchanges for domestic qualified professionals in the field of Hi-tech; 
  3. Exchanges on high and new technological achievements for universities nationwide, mainly in the field of IT, Biotechnology.


China Hi-Tech Fair
Approved by the State Council, the annual "China Hi-Tech Fair " will be held on October 15th -- 20th 2000 in Shenzhen - the first special economic zone of China.

Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society

The Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (CMES), founded on May 21, 1936, is a national learned organization engaged in the promotion of the art and science of mechanical engineering. CMES was chartered as a legal person at the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People¡¯s Republic of China.

CMES's major function is to promote development of the art and science of mechanical engineering, organize academic activities, carry out training and continuing engineering education activities, publicize technical information, provide inter-media service and safeguard the legal rights and interest of its membership.
Prospect Program of China

Prospect Program of China is founded by China Youth Development Foundation and China Association for International Exchange of Personnel in 1993.

Prospect Program of China is another major non-for-profit project after the "HOPE" project.
